Finding The Right Hairstylist

Have you ever looked at another woman and thought, “Wow, her hair looks amazing!” Most likely your next inclination was to ask her, “Hey, who does your hair?”
If she divulges her secret, you might impulsively Google her stylist’s name and make an appointment. That’s ok; however, I wouldn’t recommend committing to anything serious right off the bat. For your first appointment I would recommend getting a simple wash and blow dry to see how he or she styles your hair.
Next, ask the stylist what they think of your current style and what they envision. The key is always in the consultation. I learned many years ago the primary reason a stylist will lose a client is due to sheer laziness. Here are some key questions and indicators to consider when looking for a hairstylist:
The day your hairdresser says to you, “Let’s do the same thing as last time,” is the day you should stand back and think about where the relationship is going between the two of you. For my clients who can’t come in to see me as often as they’d like, I recommend that they use Everyday Botanicals’ Dry & Damaged Collection which can be viewed HERE.
